United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors

Aerial Photography Tour

So, sometime last July (2002) I set off with a couple of friends to see the location of the United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors. The Nuwaubians are a religous group who have a large "campus" near Eatonton, Georgia. This campus is quite interesting, as it is built in an ancient Egyptian theme, complete with a two large pyramids, several smaller pyramids, a model of the sphynx, and numbers other oddities built around the location.

Side note: In light of recent events, I feel it prudent to mention that I am not a member, supporter, or affiliate of the United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors. I simply discovered their very odd looking site from the air and enjoy flying over it to take pictures. That is all.

Enjoy!

View from the West, along the hwy. Notice the sphynx and the sound-stage just below the two large (45 ft?) pyramids.

The entire site, from the West. Here you can see the large arch at the only (apparently well guarded) entrance.

View of the location from the East.

Better view of the entire site, from the East.

The Southeast corner, showing what is presumably Malachi York's house.

Notice the empty swimming pool behind the house. Note that this was taken in July.
